This song compares the confusion, blindness, and despair of a life without Jesus to the belief and hope that come from accepting Him.
I wanted to write a song which recognised the busyness of life, and the doubt and uncertainty many people experience. This was inspired by Jesus’ words from Matthew 10. Keiko Ying and Dave Forrey from the Resound Worship "12 Song Challenge" gave a lot of help with lyrics.
A setting of Psalm 136. This song is in 7/4 time, but could be converted to 4/4 fairly easily!
An exploration of intimacy with God through His voice, and a dedication to listen and follow. Written for the Resound Worship "12 Song Challenge".
